Original Run – 9 May 2016 – onwards
The show has over 157 episodes so far which covers the adventures of Boruto and his friends as they join Ninja Academy, where a series of mysterious events unfold. What follows is a thrilling story of persistence and hard work which can keep anyone glued to their seats. So, its quite obvious that people want to binge-watch it. But that raises the further question where can one stream it? What if I tell you that you can not just stream it online but do it for free?
Here are the options that one has if one wants to watch Boruto: Naruto Next Generations for free –
Watch-boruto.com
If you are fine with watching the show at 420p ,then you can watch all the episodes for free on watch-boruto.com. But If you want to watch it at 720p or 1080p then you will have to pay for the VIP membership which will cost $2.99 per quarter. Considering all the other options, this one has the least subscription fee of all the options available.
Hulu
All the episodes are also available on Hulu,. which comes with a one-month free trial, after which it costs 6$ per month with ads and 12$ per month without ads. If you are at home for the next month with nothing to look forward to, Hulu will be a great option to binge-watch all the episodes and since it comes with a cancel anytime 30-day trial option, you will end up paying nothing.
Crunchyroll.com
The famous manga is available for binge-watching on crunchyroll.com. You can watch the show by subscribing for $7.99 which gives you a 2 week trial period which you can cancel anytime. If you can watch all the 157 episodes in 2 weeks even this option might work for you.
Amazon Prime Video
Now, of all the options, Amazon Prime Video is probably the most un-economical one. They offer only 5 of the total 11 volumes of the show. Even though you still prefer to watch it on Amazon you must know that each episode will cost $3 while one season is $29 each, making it the most expensive option of all by far.
Personally speaking, I believe watch-boruto.com is the best alternative if one wants to watch the show on a mobile device. Since its an anime the quality won’t deteriorate much at 420p and will be easy to watch. While Hulu is a great option too if you can finish the show in a month and cancel before the trial period ends. So, watching Boruto for free is not just possible but one can do so in more than one way.
